Project Redesign...changing lives one room at a time.
Project Redesign provides room makeovers for low-income families, and interior redesigns for community centers and other non-profit organizations.
Started in 2008 as an adjunct program of the Martha O'Bryan Center, Project Redesign was granted non-profit status in 2011 and has redesigned hundreds of rooms all over Nashville. PR's primary focus has been the James Cayce Homes, Nashville's largest and most at-risk public housing development.
New in 2014, Project Redesign is partnering with Sophia's Heart, furnishing homes for families that have graduated from their program and are transitioning back into the community.
Project Redesign has also renovated communal rooms for the Salvation Army, YWCA's Domestic Violence Center, Stratford High School's "Top Floor", the Martha O'Bryan Center (Faith Building Lobby, Meditation and Conference Room, after-school Thrive room, Quiet Room, offices), many apartments for Mending Hearts, Issac Linton Middle School's After-School Activity Room, and Matthew 25.
Project Redesign collects donations of gently-used household items and furniture, and cash donations. All contributions are tax deductible; receipts are provided. Please make checks payable to "Project Redesign" and send to:
